The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum has over 30 pieces of rolling stock that its volunteers and members work on. Located in North Judson, Indiana, the Museum is open Saturdays 9am to 4pm CT year round, weather permitting. Train Rides are given May - Sept Open Sunday by appointment only. The Starke County Historical Society Museum is housed in the home of former twice-elected Governor of Indiana, Henry F. Schricker. The Museum is open Tuesday thru Friday from 12 to 4. The Historical Society also has 3 annual events, an Ice Cream Social, an annual meeting and a Christmas Open House. For More Details check out their Website at: |

Our county has so much history, it may take you a few days to browse through all of it. The beautifully restored Knox Depot is the home of the Starke County Chamber of Commerce and the Starke County Tourism Commission. You can see it right on US35. |
